[android-developers] update a ListView with getView

Hi

I am trying to update a ListView with the following:

TextView listItem= (TextView)mAvailableOptionsListView.getAdapter
().getView(1, null, null);

listItem.setText("test");

The problem is that it does not update in the
mAvailableOptionsListView ListView. Why is that?
