[android-developers] Re: Failed to fetch URL https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/repository.xml

Adding "sdkman.force.http=true to ~/.android/androidtool.cfg" didn't
change anything.
Checkboxing "Force https://... sources to be fetched using http://"
didn't change anything, and wasn't saved.
Adding site "http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/
repository.xml" allowed updates to be seen, but install selected did
nothing, and site wasn't saved.

I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 x64 (released). Machine has 8GB RAM.
openjdk-6-jdk 6b16-1.6.1-1ubuntu3
