App widgets can have ProgressBar widgets. Put in a small indeterminate
(i.e., round) progress bar.

I don't recommend plaster. That stuff does seriously nasty stuff to
touchscreens. Plus, it gets in the crack where the screen meets the case
edge, and then it's really...
